Heantun Housing Association, has stepped up to support Old Tree Nursery, a 5.5 acre garden, plant and fresh produce nursery in Pendeford Hall Lane, Off Wobaston Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
The nursery is run by students with learning difficulties and mental health issues.
Without funding, the nursery would have closed this month because of council budget cuts, but now it can contnue its useful work thanks to Heantun Housing.

Heantun is asking other organisations to help support the nursery by :
Becoming a member of the “Friends and Commercial Supporters Group”, providing strategic and networking advice and guidance;
funding staff and team building away days – companies like Carillion and Caldmore accord Housing Association have carried out team building days onsite to help with developments – this has benefited both organisations;
Providing equipment and supplies;
Providing unwanted gardening and kitchen equipment and materials;
Providing Refreshments;
Hosting charity events;
Making donations;
